Amber + Dan’s Elements wedding at Hotel Indigo was a beautiful day filled with so much laughter, love and Fireball.
Because Amber + Dan met and fell in love in high school, they parted ways when they went off to college to have new adventures. They never got over each other and apparently often talked about their great high school romance to their friends. After graduating from college, they reconnected and this time they were not going to let go of each other! It’s easy to see the chemistry they have between them.
“Not many people can say they fell in love with their soulmate not once but twice in their life…”
Amber is beautiful and fun loving. Dan is a nice down-to-earth guy. As Amber’s Dad toasted him, “Dan doesn’t try to impress. He doesn’t seem to care if he impresses anybody. He’s just true to himself.”
Since Amber + Dan got ready in separate rooms for their Elements wedding at Hotel Indigo, they had a traditional first look walking down the aisle. Amber looked simply gorgeous in her Hayley Paige dress and sparkly Badgley Mischka shoes. Because Dan is such a good sport, his groomsmen payed tribute to him by wearing socks with the most embarrassing photos they could find of Dan.
Dan got a little teary eyed as he saw Amber for the first time walking down the aisle. After the sweet ceremony, it was time to party! On the trolley ride to go take photos, Fireball was passed around with a GoPro – just to capture the moment.
The reception at Elements at Water Street was the perfect setting for their celebration. Because the toasts were amazing, the room filled with laughter and tears and all the right moments. Amber’s Dad started out the touching toasts.
“Amber is the most precious thing in my life and it’s always been my job to defend her, protect her at any cost. And today, I hand that baton to you.”
And the best man brought down the house describing the first time he met Dan in college. “He walked up with a backwards fitted hat, white studded belt, a shirt so tight you could have seen what he ate for dinner, DC shoes, no skateboard, and the most sparkly cubic zirconia earings I ever saw. He looked like Ryan Sheckler’s poor cousin from the midwest they forgot to mention on the show.”
